New Orleans Lager and Ale (NOLA) Brewing to Release Wandering Eye-PA

First Beer Release of NOLA Brewing’s Small Batch “Lagniappe Series”

New Orleans, LA (October 15, 2015):  Lagniappe means “a little extra” but in NOLA Brewing’s case, it means A LOT. On October 27th, 2015, NOLA Brewing will release Wandering Eye-PA, the first official beer of their new Lagniappe Series. The Lagniappe series is a wide-ranging, freewheeling series of beers that are available in the NOLA Brewing Tap Room, special events and now at select bars in New Orleans.

“We are always coming up with great new beers that were only available in our Tap Room, but we knew we wanted to give craft beer fans a taste of our special small batches outside of our own building,” says Kirk Coco, CEO of NOLA Brewing. “The Lagniappe Series allows us to sell those really interesting beers outside the Tap Room and in New Orleans bars and restaurants. “

The Lagniappe Series’ first small batch is Wandering Eye-PA, a Session IPA brewed with five highly sought after hops: Galaxy, Citra, Belma, Zythos and Centennial. This Session IPA has the most hops NOLA Brewing has ever put into a beer and will appeal to the growing number of New Orleans hop-heads. This all-things-hoppy beer has a 4.5% ABV.

Wandering Eye-PA is a small batch beer that will launch in the NOLA Brewing Tap Room on October 27 and will be available to bars and restaurants until sold out. The Session IPA will be available in draught form in New Orleans, only.

Also available will be NOLA Brewing’s annual beers such as the NOLA Blonde, Hopitoulas, 7th Street Wheat, Rebirth Pale Ale, NOLA Brown, Irish Channel Stout and Mecha and their current seasonal beer, Darkest Before Dawn (Munich Dunkel).
