Celebrate “Seven Years of Beers” with NOLA Brewing

 

NOLA Brewing is Hosting a Seventh Anniversary Concert Featuring The Motet and a Specialty Sour

 

New Orleans, LA (February 4, 2016): NOLA Brewing invites you to celebrate “Seven Years of Beers” on March 4th, 2016. “The Anniversary party, which is being produced by Fiyawerx Productions, will feature performances by The Motet with Leo Nocentelli (The Meters), Naughty Professor with Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), OttO. and Quickie Mart. It will also showcase NOLA Brewing’s Seventh Anniversary Beer, “Boysen the Wood.”

 

NOLA Brewing was founded in 2008, and the first NOLA beer was produced on March 3, 2009. Seven years later, NOLA Brewing has seven year-round beers, the NOLA Funk Series, seasonal beers and small batch Lagniappe beers available in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

 

“It’s amazing to see everything we have accomplished in just seven years,” says Kirk Coco, CEO of NOLA Brewing. “We feel like we need to celebrate our milestones with our community, so we want to make sure our anniversary party reflects our excitement from what we have done, and what we plan to do moving forward. “

 

“Seven Years of Beers” will take place at NOLA Brewing, 3001 Tchoupitoulas Street. Doors open at 5pm and the party will last until 11pm. Naughty Professor with Chali 2Na (Jurassic 5) kicks off at 6:30 and The Motet with Leo Nocentelli (The Meters) will take the stage at 9pm. DJ Otto and DJ Quickie Mart will be spinning in the award winning NOLA Brewing Tap Room between sets.

 

NOLA will be serving a wide variety of standard and specialty NOLA beers, as well as releasing its limited addition Seventh Anniversary Beer, “Boysen the Wood.” This 4.5% ABV American sour ale has been aged for nine months in white wine barrels with fresh Boysenberry fruit.

 

Tickets to attend the event can be purchased at www.sevenyearsofbeers.eventbrite.com. Early bird pricing is $15 and general admission is $20. Get your tickets early – once capacity is reached, no additional tickets will be released. McClure’s Barbecue and draft beer will be available for purchase in the Tap Room. Parking is available in the NOLA Brewing parking lot behind the Tap Room. Must be 21+ to attend.
